(BRANSON, MO, April 11, 2025) The City of Branson City Clerk’s office is proud to announce its official designation as a Passport Acceptance Facility by the U.S. Department of State. This designation marks a significant milestone for the City of Branson and reflects the continued commitment to expand its public service offering to better support the needs of the community.
With this new status, the City Clerk’s office is authorized to receive and execute applications for U.S. Passport books and/or passport cards. This service is available for individuals applying with the DS-11 application, which includes first-time applicants, minors and those with lost or stolen passports.
“We are excited to offer this new service to our community,” said Kylynn Chaney, Deputy City Clerk. “This designation will provide convenience for local residents, as the first and only acceptance facility located in Branson.”
Passport services will be available by appointment during regular business hours, helping ensure applicants receive one-on-one assistance in a timely and efficient manner. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the City Clerk’s office at (417) 337-8522. It is important to note that while the City Clerk’s office can accept and execute applications, only the U.S. Department of State has the authority to review applications and issue passports. Processing times and final approvals are handled exclusively by the federal agency.
