City of Branson Announces Phase Two of Neighborhood Rehabilitation Project

News Posted on September 15, 2025

(BRANSON, MO, September 15, 2025) The City of Branson is moving forward with the second phase of the Neighborhood Rehabilitation Project, a major effort to replace aging water mains, upgrade service lines, and improve stormwater infrastructure throughout the Lakewood Estates neighborhood.

The project, now in its design phase, is aimed at reducing service interruptions, extending the system’s longevity, and strengthening fire protection. To ensure transparency and community input, the City of Branson will host a neighborhood meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Branson Community Center, 201 Compton Drive. Utilities staff and project engineers will be available at the meeting to answer questions, share updates, and listen to community feedback.

As part of this phase, the City must also acquire certain permanent and temporary easements to allow for construction and future maintenance of utility lines. Property owners who require an easement will receive direct communication. Easement agreements will be prepared in advance, and notaries will be available at no cost during the meeting. All individuals listed on a property deed must be present with valid identification.

For residents unable to attend, easement documents will also be available at the City’s Utilities office, located at 616 West Pacific Street inside the Water Tower. Property owners may contact the office directly to schedule a convenient time to complete the paperwork.

For questions or to schedule an appointment, residents may call 417-243-2731 or email neighborhoodrehab@bransonmo.gov.
