(BRANSON, MO, June 26, 2025) The City of Branson is now accepting applications from community members interested in serving on various City boards and committees—including an appointment to the Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) Board of Directors. Applications are open now and must be submitted by Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
Serving on a board or committee is a meaningful way to help shape the future of Branson. These volunteer positions offer a unique opportunity for residents to engage with City government, contribute ideas, and help guide important decisions that impact our community.
Current vacancies include positions on the Board of Adjustment, Board of Appeals, Industrial Development Authority, Branson Hills CID, Branson Commerce Park CID, and the Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) Board.
The TCED Board, in particular, plays a vital role in overseeing approximately $10 million in annual tourism tax revenue used to market and promote the Branson/Lakes Area region. The Board consists of seven volunteer directors, with appointments made by the City of Branson, Village of Indian Point, and Taney and Stone Counties. Appointees serve three-year terms and must demonstrate an understanding of modern marketing strategies, fiscal responsibility, and tourism dynamics.
